Wink is the new novel, out in April 2020, that Karen Foxlee called ‘Completely uplifting, deeply moving and brilliantly funny in just the right amounts’.

Suitable for students over 10 years, this novel explores themes of family, friendship and dealing with the usual problems of being in Year 7, all while negotiating a serious illness. It turns out that an eye tumour involves a lot more goo, rock music and hats than one would expect.
